SHOES FOR SHORTIES

ABOUT
Shoes for Shorties  is a hands and feet ministry of RCFCHURCH to benefit School age Children from grades K-12. RCF church members and volunteers seek out deserving children through public school teachers, agencies serving the most at-risk youth and families in Northern New Mexico.
HOW IS STARTED

Shoes for Shorties began as ministry when  Elias Arellano aka "SHORTY" entered his Junior year (2015) at Espanola Valley High School a  pair of his shoes went missing from his locker. Shorty an avid shoe collector, shoe buyer and reseller, when he realized that a classmate of lesser means  was wearing his stolen shoes Shorty decided that he would look the other way and allow the classmate to keep the shoes.  This personal experience and witnessing many other classmates not having new shoes sparked a vision and gave birth to his personal dream of organizing a fund to help his class-mates of lesser means to have a fresh set of kicks on their first day of school. Thank you for helping Shoes for Shorties put a pair of new shoes on the feet of students in our community.
